Due to the rising costs of shipping materials, and commercial shipping rates, it has become cost prohibitive to ship our cheese. You can always place an order on our site for farm or market pick up, just indicate where you want to pick up and we are happy to deliver it to you at any of our markets or have it ready for you to pick up on the farm. We ask you place orders for market pick up by Friday at noon. “On farm pick up” can usually be ready same day, but if you are ordering through the website, check your email for confirmation that it’s ready before you make the trip. Milk orders must be placed by 4pm on the Thursday before market. You can always call-in or text your order. Thank you for supporting our family and your local food culture.
Shepherd’s Whey Creamery is a family owned goat dairy, and creamery in the eastern panhandle of West Virginia. We specialize in minimally-processed goat’s milk, goat’s milk cheese, and delicious yogurt cultured goat’s milk smoothies and Goatgurt (our version of spoon-able yogurt). Since 2003 our family has been raising goats and producing goat-dairy products with the utmost devotion and care in hopes that our community and our planet might benefit from wholesome food and a simple lifestyle.
